Gyoza Dipping Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 (9 oz) pkg Nasoya® Organic Tofu Vegetable Dumplings
  • 4 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 4 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 garlic cloves pressed or finely chopped
  • 1 tsp ginger finely chopped or grated
  • 1 green onion finely sliced
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/4 tsp chili flakes

Preparation

  1. To pan-fry (preferred method): Heat skillet on medium-high heat. Add 2 tablespoons of oil
  2. Carefully add dumplings. Pan-fry for 1 to 2 minutes on each side until golden
  3. Add 1/4 cup water and cover immediately to avoid splatter. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes or until water evaporates
  4. Remove from skillet and serve with your favorite sauce
  5. To boil: Add dumplings to 4 quarts of boiling water
  6. Boil for 1 minute, and then reduce to simmer. Cook for 2 more minutes
  7. Scoop dumplings from water and drain to avoid breakage
  8. For Gyoza Dipping Sauce, mix together rice vinegar, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, green onion, sesame oil and chili flakes
