Southwestern Turkey-Tofu Burgers

1 pkg (8 oz) Nasoya® TofuBaked, Chipotle, crumbled
1 lb ground turkey
1 can (4 oz) diced green chilies
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp dried oregano leaves
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
6 slices pepper jack cheese
6 tbsp guacamole
6 hamburger buns
Sliced onion, sliced tomato and Leaf lettuce
- Heat gas or charcoal grill.
- In large bowl, mix turkey, tofu, chilies, cumin, oregano, salt, and pepper with hands until blended. Shape into 6 patties.
- Brush grill rack with vegetable oil. Place patties on grill over medium-high heat. Cover grill; cook 9 to 12 minutes, turning once, until meat thermometer inserted in center of patties reaches 165°F. Top burgers with cheese slices during the last minute of grilling.
- Spread 1 tablespoon guacamole on bottom half of each bun. Top with burger, onion, tomato, lettuce, and chipotle mayonnaise. Serve immediately.
