Crab Dumplings with Sesame-Soy Sauce
- 1 pkg Nasoya® Won Ton wraps
- ½ cup lump crab meat
- ½ cup canned water chestnuts, drained and finely chopped
- ¼ cup finely chopped scallions
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 2 tablespoons peanut oil
- ½ cup chicken broth
- ¼ cup Tamari sauce
- ¼ teaspoon sesame oil
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
Combine crab meat, water chestnuts and scallions in a medium bowl. Season with salt and pepper to taste and stir until thoroughly mixed. Brush the edges of 1 won ton wraps lightly with egg. Place about 1 teaspoon of crab mixture in the center of the wrap; pull the corners toward the center to make a point and press to seal. Repeat with remaining wrappers and filling. Preheat a large skillet over medium heat. Add peanut oil and dumplings and fry 2 minutes. Add broth, cover and reduce heat to low. Cook 2 minutes. Remove dumplings to a platter. In a small bowl, whisk tamari sauce and sesame oil together until combined. Serve with hot dumplings.
