Ingredients: 
  • 2 pkgs Nasoya extra firm tofu, drained, pressed and sliced into slabs

Sauce:

  • 1 small onion minced
  • 1 tbls Canola oil
  • 2 tbls apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbls vegetarian Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbls molasses
  • 5 tbls soy sauce
  • 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
Preparation Method: 

Saute the onions in oil until golden. Add all other sauce ingredients and simmer 10 minutes. Oil a shallow baking pan, pour some sauce in the pan to lightly cost bottom of pan. Lay the tofu in the pan in a single layer. Pour remaining sauce over the tofu. Marinate 30 minutes or refrigerate overnight. Bake the tofu in a 350° F oven for 45 - 60 minutes. Turn the tofu every 20 minutes and cook until the sauce dries on the tofu.
