Ingredients: 
  • 1 pkg Nasoya Silken Tofu
  • ¼ lb raw shrimp shelled and deveined
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp dry sherry
  • Sesame oil
  • Cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp chopped cilantro leaves
  • 1 tbsp finely shredded red chile pepper
  • Soy sauce
Preparation Method: 

Coarsely chop shrimp add salt, sherry, and 1 teaspoon each sesame oil and cornstarch. Mix well. Drain tofu and cut in half horizontally. Cut each piece in half lengthwise and then crosswise to make 8 equal pieces. Place tofu, side by side, on heat-proof dish. With spoon, scoop out a small piece of tofu from each piece. Dust indentation with cornstarch evenly stuff with shrimp mixture. Place a steaming rack in a wok or large skillet add water to just below the level of the rack. Bring water to a boil. Place dish on rack cover and steam until shrimp turns pink, about 6 minutes. Sprinkle with cilantro and chile pepper. Drizzle with 1 tablespoon each sesame oil and soy sauce.
