Vegan Sour Cream Fudge Frosting

  • 1 cup semi-sweet vegan chocolate chips
  • ¼ cup vegan butter
  • ½ cup vegan sour cream
  • 2 ½ cups powdered sugar
  • Optional: ¼ teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla 2
  • tablespoons clear Creme de Cacao
  • Optional: soy creamer or soymilk
Preparation Method: 

In 1-quart saucepan, melt together chocolate chips and soy creamer over medium heat. Transfer mixture to bowl of electric mixer and allow to cool to room temperature. Beat in sour cream, powdered sugar, optional salt, vanilla and Creme de Cacao until fluffy and spreading consistency. Frosting becomes stiffer as you beat it, so thin with soy creamer or soymilk if necessary.
